Key Responsibilities Perform machine setups and changeovers according to production schedules and specifications. Install, adjust, and calibrate tooling, dies, and fixtures for various manufacturing processes. Conduct first-piece inspections and quality checks to ensure parts meet engineering requirements. Troubleshoot and resolve setup-related issues to minimize downtime and optimize machine performance. Perform routine preventive maintenance on machinery and tooling to ensure operational readiness. Document setup parameters, machine adjustments, and any encountered issues or resolutions. Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Recommended Qualifications 2-4 years of experience in machine setup, changeover, or maintenance within a manufacturing environment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation. Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers). Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic mechanical and operational issues. Bonus Qualifications Experience with PLC programming or industrial automation. Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles (e.g., 5S, Kaizen). Proficiency in CAD/CAM software or advanced blueprint reading. Tool & Die making or precision machining experience.
