Troubleshoot and diagnose complex electrical, mechanical, and software issues in industrial robots. Install, configure, and commission new robotic equipment and work cells. Modify and optimize existing robot programs for improved efficiency and product quality. Conduct emergency repairs to minimize downtime and ensure continuous production. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and system modifications. Ensure all robotic operations comply with safety standards and company policies. Recommended Qualifications Proficiency in programming, operating, and troubleshooting industrial robots (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB). Strong understanding and experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and HMI systems. Demonstrated ability to diagnose and repair complex electrical, mechanical, and software faults in automated manufacturing equipment. Experience performing preventive and corrective maintenance on robotic cells and associated machinery. Associate's degree in Robotics, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related technical field, or equivalent industry experience/certifications. Bonus Qualifications Advanced programming skills (e.g., Python, C++, ROS) for custom robot application development. Experience with industrial vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence) for robot guidance or inspection. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for interpreting mechanical drawings and layouts. Familiarity with industrial networking protocols (e.g., EtherNet/IP, Profinet) and basic IT troubleshooting.
