The Opportunity We are partnering with organizations in DeWitt that are seeking Robotics Technicians. Key Responsibilities Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on industrial robotic systems. Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical, mechanical, and software issues in robots. Program and re-program robots for new tasks, process adjustments, or optimization. Calibrate robot arms and end-of-arm tooling to ensure precision and accuracy. Install, configure, and commission new robotic equipment and work cells. Conduct routine inspections and safety checks on all robotic systems and associated equipment. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and system performance. Collaborate with engineers and production staff to improve robotic processes and efficiency. Recommended Qualifications Associate's degree in Robotics, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related technical field, or equivalent certifications. Proficiency in programming, troubleshooting, and performing maintenance on industrial robots (e.g., Fanuc, Kuka, ABB). Strong understanding and practical experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens). Ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic schematics and blueprints. Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing or industrial automation environment. Bonus Qualifications Experience with industrial vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence). Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python) for data acquisition or system integration. Familiarity with industrial networking protocols (e.g., EtherNet/IP, PROFINET). Ability to interpret and modify CAD drawings for robotic cell layouts or tooling. Experience with robot simulation software (e.g., KUKA.Sim, FANUC ROBOGUIDE).
