Key Responsibilities Perform detailed inspections of incoming materials, in in-process production, and finished goods against quality specifications. Utilize precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM) to verify product dimensions. Document inspection results accurately, maintaining comprehensive quality records and databases. Identify and report non-conforming materials or products, initiating appropriate containment and disposition. Assist in root cause analysis for quality issues and support the implementation of corrective actions. Conduct routine calibration and maintenance checks on inspection tools and equipment. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality discrepancies and improve processes. Recommended Qualifications High school diploma or GED; Associate's degree in a technical field preferred. 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing quality assurance or quality control role. Proficiency in using precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges). Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints, including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). Basic understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and data collection. Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
