Key Responsibilities Perform detailed inspections of incoming materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure adherence to specifications. Document inspection results, non-conformances, and corrective actions accurately in quality records and databases. Identify and report non-conforming materials or products, initiating appropriate containment and disposition processes. Maintain and verify the calibration status of measurement and test equipment used in manufacturing. Assist in root cause analysis and problem-solving activities for quality defects and customer complaints. Utilize precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify product dimensions and tolerances. Collaborate with production teams to implement and monitor quality control procedures and standards on the manufacturing floor. Recommended Qualifications High School Diploma or GED; Associate's degree in a technical discipline preferred. 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing quality control or inspection role. Proficient in using precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) and interpreting technical drawings. Basic understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Statistical Process Control (SPC) principles. Ability to document non-conformances, perform basic root cause analysis, and support corrective actions.
