Key Responsibilities Perform dimensional and visual inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products. Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify product specifications. Document inspection results accurately and maintain comprehensive quality records and databases. Identify and report non-conforming materials or products, initiating appropriate containment actions. Assist in root cause analysis and the implementation of corrective and preventive actions for quality issues. Conduct product audits and first article inspections to ensure adherence to engineering drawings and quality standards. Support the calibration program for measuring and test equipment. Recommended Qualifications Associate's degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience. 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing quality control or inspection role. Proficiency with precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) and blueprint reading, including GD&T. Basic understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001). Strong attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Computer literacy for data entry, analysis, and report generation.
