Key Responsibilities Perform visual and dimensional inspections of incoming, in-process, and finished products. Utilize precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify product specifications. Document inspection results, create quality reports, and maintain accurate records. Identify and quarantine non-conforming materials, initiating non-conformance reports (NCRs). Assist in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for quality issues. Support the calibration program for inspection and test equipment. Ensure compliance with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and company procedures. Recommended Qualifications High school diploma or GED; Associate's degree in a technical field preferred. 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing quality control or assurance role. Proficiency in using precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges). Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints and technical specifications, including GD&T. Basic understanding of quality principles, statistical process control (SPC), and root cause analysis. Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management systems. Bonus Qualifications Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles. Proficiency with statistical software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) for data analysis. Familiarity with CMM operation or programming. Internal auditing experience (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100).
