Key Responsibilities Develop and implement strategic sourcing initiatives for raw materials, components, and MRO supplies. Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to achieve cost savings and favorable agreements. Manage supplier relationships, performance, and compliance to ensure timely and quality material delivery. Collaborate with production and planning to optimize inventory levels and ensure material availability. Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including material shortages, price volatility, and quality issues. Drive continuous improvement in purchasing processes, systems, and supplier quality standards. Lead and mentor the purchasing team, fostering professional development and high performance. Recommended Qualifications Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in purchasing or supply chain management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role, preferably within a manufacturing environment. Proven expertise in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiation, and contract management. Strong proficiency with enterprise resource planning (ERP) or material requirements planning (MRP) systems. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. Comprehensive understanding of manufacturing processes, material requirements planning (MRP), and inventory control principles.
