Key Responsibilities Develop and implement strategic purchasing plans and policies for raw materials, components, and MRO. Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers while managing strong relationships with existing vendors. Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and contracts to achieve cost savings and quality standards. Manage the end-to-end procurement process, ensuring timely delivery and optimal inventory levels. Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and supply chain risks to inform purchasing decisions. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to forecast material needs and optimize supply. Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements. Recommended Qualifications 5+ years of progressive experience in purchasing or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment. Proven ability to negotiate complex contracts and manage supplier relationships effectively. Strong understanding and practical experience with ERP/MRP systems relevant to procurement. Demonstrated success in cost reduction, inventory optimization, and process improvement initiatives. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Bonus Qualifications Experience with ERP/MRP system implementation or advanced configuration. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. Proven experience in international sourcing and global supply chain management.
