Key Responsibilities Develop and implement purchasing strategies for raw materials, components, and MRO items. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings and favorable conditions. Collaborate with production and planning teams to optimize inventory levels and ensure continuity of supply. Lead cost reduction initiatives and value analysis projects to improve profitability. Mitigate supply chain risks, including lead time variations, quality issues, and geopolitical factors. Recommended Qualifications Minimum 5-7 years of progressive purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. Proven proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and procurement software. Demonstrated expertise in negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, material requirements planning (MRP), and lean principles. Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic planning abilities.
