Key Responsibilities Perform routine preventive maintenance on manufacturing machinery and equipment. Diagnose and repair mechanical breakdowns, malfunctions, and failures promptly. Troubleshoot complex equipment issues to identify root causes and implement solutions. Install, adjust, and calibrate production equipment for optimal performance and efficiency. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals for repairs and installations. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance, repair, and inspection activities. Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while performing duties. Recommended Qualifications 3-5 years of experience as a Mechanic in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Strong proficiency in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining industrial machinery and equipment. Demonstrated knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and power transmission. Experience performing preventive and corrective maintenance tasks following established schedules. Ability to accurately read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics. Commitment to safety protocols and procedures in an industrial setting. Bonus Qualifications Experience with PLC diagnostics and troubleshooting. Proficiency in welding (MIG, TIG, Stick) for fabrication and repair. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles or Continuous Improvement methodologies. Certification or experience with specific industrial automation equipment (e.g., robotics, vision systems).
