Key Responsibilities Optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency, cost reduction, and quality improvement. Support New Product Introduction (NPI) by ensuring manufacturability and smooth production ramp-up. Design, develop, and implement manufacturing tools, fixtures, and equipment. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to process, equipment, and quality. Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Apply Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles to drive continuous improvement initiatives. Evaluate and specify new manufacturing technologies and equipment for capital investment. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field. Proven experience with Lean Manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and continuous improvement initiatives. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor) for tooling, fixture, and process layout design. Strong understanding of various manufacturing processes (e.g., machining, assembly, welding, automation). Experience with DFM/DFA (Design for Manufacturability/Assembly) and root cause analysis. Ability to analyze production data, identify bottlenecks, and implement process optimizations.
