Key Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance on production machinery and facility equipment. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues on manufacturing equipment. Troubleshoot complex machinery breakdowns to minimize production downtime. Execute corrective maintenance activities and respond to urgent repair requests. Install, commission, and relocate new and existing production equipment. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, parts used, and equipment history. Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures. Recommended Qualifications Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills, including hydraulics and pneumatics. Proven experience performing preventative and reactive maintenance in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing PLC-controlled machinery. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. Commitment to safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout procedures. High school diploma or GED; vocational training or an Associate's degree in a technical field preferred. Bonus Qualifications Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting. Proficiency in welding (MIG, TIG, Stick) and basic fabrication. Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Certification in HVAC, refrigeration, or boiler systems. Experience with Lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement initiatives.
