Install, maintain, and upgrade industrial electrical components and control systems. Perform preventative maintenance on electrical infrastructure to ensure operational reliability. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals. Ensure compliance with electrical safety codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., NEC, NFPA 70E). Work with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) for troubleshooting and basic programming. Calibrate and maintain electrical instrumentation and sensing devices. Recommended Qualifications Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification/apprenticeship completion. 3-5 years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting. Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals. Demonstrated experience with motor control circuits, VFDs, and PLC troubleshooting. Thorough knowledge of electrical safety codes (e.g., NFPA 70E, NEC) and lockout/tagout procedures.
