Key Responsibilities Manage full-cycle recruitment for manufacturing, technical, and administrative roles. Administer HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with labor laws and safety regulations (e.g., OSHA). Provide guidance and support on employee relations, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions. Oversee new hire onboarding, including site-specific safety orientations and initial training. Coordinate and facilitate training programs, with a focus on safety, compliance, and operational skills development. Administer compensation and benefits programs, serving as a liaison for payroll and employee inquiries. Manage workers' compensation claims and return-to-work programs in collaboration with safety teams. Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data for reporting and analysis. Recommended Qualifications 3-5 years of HR Generalist experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment. In-depth knowledge of federal and state labor laws (e.g., FLSA, FMLA, OSHA, EEO). Demonstrated proficiency in full-cycle recruitment, employee relations, and performance management. Strong understanding of safety protocols and a commitment to fostering a safe work environment. Experience with HRIS platforms and payroll processes. Bonus Qualifications Fluency in Spanish or another language common among the manufacturing workforce. Experience with OSHA compliance or safety program administration in a manufacturing environment. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies. Experience supporting HRIS implementation or optimization projects.
