Oversee engineering projects from conception to successful implementation, ensuring scope, budget, and timeline adherence. Drive continuous improvement initiatives for manufacturing processes, efficiency, and product quality. Provide technical leadership and guidance, ensuring adherence to engineering standards and best practices. Manage departmental budget, resources, and equipment maintenance and upgrades. Collaborate cross-functionally with production, quality, and R&D to resolve technical issues and achieve operational goals. Evaluate, recommend, and implement new technologies and automation solutions to enhance manufacturing capabilities. Recommended Qualifications Proven experience managing and developing engineering teams in a manufacturing environment. Strong technical background in manufacturing engineering principles (e.g., mechanical, electrical, industrial, process). Demonstrated expertise in lean manufacturing, continuous improvement methodologies, and quality systems. Proficiency in project management for manufacturing initiatives, including capital equipment projects. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to optimize production processes and resolve technical issues. Bonus Qualifications Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification. Experience with Industry 4.0 technologies such as IoT, advanced automation, or predictive maintenance. Proficiency with specific manufacturing execution systems (MES) or enterprise resource planning (ERP) platforms. Demonstrated experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) within a high-volume manufacturing environment. Exposure to global manufacturing operations or supply chain management.
