Key Responsibilities Oversee and optimize inventory levels to ensure material availability while minimizing carrying costs. Develop and implement robust supply chain strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce lead times. Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and monitor performance to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness. Coordinate with production planning and sales to accurately forecast demand and schedule material deliveries. Drive continuous improvement initiatives in material handling, warehousing, and logistics processes. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, quality standards, and company policies for materials. Lead and develop the materials team, fostering a culture of accountability and operational excellence. Recommended Qualifications 5+ years of progressive experience in materials management or supply chain within a manufacturing environment. Demonstrated proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for planning, scheduling, and inventory control. Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in vendor negotiation and relationship building. Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities, focused on inventory optimization and cost reduction. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
