The Opportunity We are collaborating with multiple companies in Muskegon seeking experienced Manufacturing Engineers. Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency and quality. Design, procure, and qualify tooling, fixtures, and equipment. Provide engineering support for new product introductions (NPI), ensuring manufacturability. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to processes, equipment, and materials. Create and maintain manufacturing documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs, improve yield, and enhance productivity. Analyze production data to identify trends, root causes, and implement corrective actions. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Mastercam) for design and tooling. Demonstrated experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, automation, and tooling design. Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventative actions. Experience with Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles.
