Key Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair electrical power, control, and lighting systems in a manufacturing environment. Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions in industrial machinery, equipment, and PLCs. Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on electrical components and systems to ensure operational reliability. Read, interpret, and update electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams. Ensure strict compliance with electrical codes, safety regulations (e.g., NFPA 70E), and company policies. Calibrate, test, and repair electrical instruments and automated control systems. Install and maintain motor control centers, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and other power distribution equipment. Recommended Qualifications Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent industrial electrical certification. Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an Industrial Electrician in a manufacturing environment. Demonstrated proficiency in troubleshooting, repairing, and installing industrial control systems, PLCs, VFDs, and motor controls. Thorough understanding and strict adherence to NFPA 70E, Lockout/Tagout, and other electrical safety protocols. Ability to read, interpret, and work from electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation. Experience with preventative maintenance and calibration of industrial electrical equipment.
