Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain standard costs for materials, labor, and overhead. Analyze production costs, variances, and profitability reports. Manage and reconcile inventory valuation, including work-in-progress and finished goods. Prepare detailed cost reports and budget vs. actual analysis for manufacturing operations. Identify and investigate cost-saving opportunities and production inefficiencies. Support the annual budgeting and forecasting processes for manufacturing costs. Ensure accurate costing of new products and bills of material. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 3-5 years of cost accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel. Strong understanding of standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation. Experience with bill of materials (BOM) costing and overhead allocation. Bonus Qualifications Advanced proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). Experience with ERP system implementation or advanced module configuration (e.g., SAP CO, Oracle Manufacturing Costing). Understanding of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles and their application to cost reduction. CMA (Certified Management Accountant) certification.
