Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement industrial automation solutions using PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems. Program, configure, and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and robotic systems for manufacturing processes. Conduct system integration of new automation equipment and software with existing production lines. Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for automation system failures and performance issues. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for automation systems, including schematics, logic diagrams, and operating procedures. Collaborate with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to identify and execute process improvements through automation. Ensure all automation projects and systems comply with safety standards, industry regulations, and company policies. Recommended Qualifications Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell, Mitsubishi) and HMI/SCADA development. Experience with industrial robotics (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB) and machine vision systems. Strong understanding of industrial networking protocols (e.g., EtherNet/IP, Profinet, Modbus TCP/IP). Proven ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and commission complex automation systems in a manufacturing environment. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field. Bonus Qualifications Experience with industrial vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence) for quality inspection or robot guidance. Proficiency in data acquisition systems, historians (e.g., OSIsoft PI), and SQL databases for manufacturing data analysis. Familiarity with collaborative robots (e.g., Universal Robots) or advanced robotic programming for complex tasks. Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for industrial control systems (ICS/OT).
