Key Responsibilities Perform machine setup and changeovers according to production schedules and specifications. Troubleshoot and resolve setup-related issues, machine malfunctions, or material feed problems. Optimize machine parameters and settings for efficient production runs and waste reduction. Recommended Qualifications Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity. Proven experience in machine setup, changeovers, and adjustments in a manufacturing environment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications. Proficiency with precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges). Demonstrated troubleshooting skills for manufacturing equipment and processes. Bonus Qualifications Experience with CAD/CAM software or machine-specific programming languages. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles. Basic electrical, pneumatic, or hydraulic troubleshooting skills. Previous experience with preventative maintenance (PM) schedules or systems.
