Local CDL A Driver - Dedicated Fleet

Position Overview Join our dedicated local fleet as a CDL A Driver based in Fredericksburg, VA. This position is ideal for drivers who want to stay active, be home daily, and maintain a consistent work-life balance while earning competitive pay. Compensation & Benefits Average Weekly Pay: $1,671 Average Annual Earnings: $86,892 Pay Structure: Load Pay: $55 per trailer Average Stops: 20-26 stops per week Mentor Pay: $168 per day (5-day training period) Supplemental Pay: Available Schedule & Home Time Home Time: Daily Days Off: 2 consecutive days off per week Work Schedule: 5-day work week (including weekends) Shift Hours: 12-14 hours per shift Start Times: Between 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM (1900-2100 hours) Job Responsibilities Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently on local routes Load and unload trailers using an electric pallet jack Complete deliveries throughout Virginia and Maryland Reload returns back to the distribution center Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation Provide excellent customer service at delivery locations Average 1,300 miles per week Delivery Territory Primary Routes: Throughout Virginia and Maryland Origin Point: Fredericksburg, VA distribution center Route Type: Local dedicated fleet Required Qualifications Valid Class A CDL (Commercial Driver's License) Clean driving record Ability to pass DOT physical examination and drug screening Must be able to perform physical labor (loading/unloading) Experience operating electric pallet jacks or willingness to learn Strong time management and organizational skills Reliable attendance and professional demeanor Ability to work evening/night shifts and weekends Physical Requirements Driver Unload Required: Must be able to physically load and unload trailers Ability to operate an electric pallet jack safely Capable of lifting, pushing, and pulling freight as needed Ability to work 12-14 hour shifts Comfortable with repetitive physical activity (20-26 stops per week) Why Join Our Team?
