AI & Knowledge Systems Summer Trainee

SSH Communications Security is a European defensive cybersecurity company and a pioneer of secure communications. Our solutions gatekeep access and defend secrets when people, applications, and systems need to communicate. Our technology is used in more than 90% of data centres around the world and is trusted by many Fortune 500 companies. We’re looking for a curious summer trainee to help improve how internal knowledge and documentation are organized and used across the company. You will work closely with our CTO and IT team to explore how company documentation can be structured, maintained, and potentially used with AI-assisted tools. What you’ll do Map documentation across systems such as Confluence, SharePoint, and internal wikis Help design a clear structure for internal knowledge Support consolidation or migration of documentation Define simple processes for updating and maintaining information Explore ways to use documentation with AI tools Experiment with ideas such as GPT or RAG-based knowledge assistants Create small scripts or integrations where helpful What we’re looking for You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Computer Science, IT, Data Science, or a related field Interest in AI tools, automation, or information systems Basic technical skills (scripting, APIs, or Git are a plus) Curious mindset and ability to organize information clearly Fluent in English What you’ll gain Hands-on experience working with real internal systems Exposure to AI-powered knowledge tools Opportunity to prototype an AI-assisted internal knowledge system Close collaboration with senior technical leadership If you're curious about AI, internal tools, and building useful systems, we’d love to hear from you!
