Job Description Manage a caseload of first-party property damage insurance claims from intake through resolution Analyze coverage issues, damages, and liability to develop smart litigation strategy Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, demand materials, and other litigation documents Take and defend depositions of insureds, adjusters, experts, and corporate representatives Negotiate settlements and represent clients in mediation and arbitration Appear in court for hearings and proceedings as needed (trial experience not required) Communicate clearly with clients and keep them updated on strategy and next steps Collaborate with paralegals, legal assistants, and other attorneys to drive timelines and outcomes Stay current on Texas insurance law and evolving property claim trends Qualifications JD from an accredited law school 2+ years (up to 5 years) of property damage litigation experience (plaintiff or defense) Active Texas Bar membership in good standing Strong writing skills and comfort handling discovery and motion practice Deposition and mediation experience is a plus Organized, proactive, and able to manage deadlines in a fast-moving environment Why You Will Love Working Here Supportive team environment with resources and structure behind you Interesting, real-world disputes with clients who genuinely need help Strong benefits and performance culture with room to grow A firm that values professionalism, responsiveness, and results JPC-732 Job Type: Full-time Benefits: Dental insurance Paid time off Retirement plan Vision insurance
