Staff Accountant

Property Accountant Bellevue / Eastside (Onsite) $80K – $95K Seattle Search Group is partnering with a well-established real estate organization on the Eastside seeking a Property Accountant to support accounting operations across a portfolio of commercial and multifamily assets. This role will work closely with the accounting and property management teams to oversee financial reporting, tenant billing, reconciliations, and operational accounting across multiple entities. Key Responsibilities Prepare journal entries and support monthly close Perform balance sheet and bank reconciliations Prepare financial statements for multiple property entities Process accounts payable and manage vendor payments Handle tenant billing and cash receipts Maintain lease and tenant information within the property accounting system Track tenant improvement costs and job costing Monitor reserve accounts and assist with budgeting activities Prepare annual CAM / NNN reconciliations Maintain loan documentation and provide lender reporting as required Coordinate with property management and third-party partners Qualifications 5+ years of accounting experience within property management or real estate Experience supporting commercial and/or multifamily property portfolios Strong Excel skills Experience with property accounting systems such as Yardi or similar platforms Ability to manage multiple entities and priorities Compensation & Benefits Base salary approximately $80K – $95K Full benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and PTO
