A Good Ofsted-rated secondary school in Lambeth (ages 11–18) is looking to appoint a passionate English Teacher (ECT) to join their supportive English Department. The Role As an English ECT, you will: • Deliver engaging English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. • Teach both English Language and Literature. • Support the department in developing creative teaching strategies. • Participate in extracurricular activities such as reading clubs or school productions. • Receive ongoing guidance and training during your ECT induction. Requirements • Completing PGCE or equivalent with QTS. • Strong subject knowledge in English. • Passion for developing literacy and communication skills in students. • Strong classroom management and organisation skills. • Commitment to continuous professional development.
