A well-regarded secondary school in Cambridge is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teacher to join their Science Faculty ASAP . This is a full-time, permanent role teaching across KS3–KS5 , including GCSE and A Level courses. Science Teacher – full-time, permanent Secondary school in Cambridge Start date: ASAP MPS/UPS salary About the Role The Science Teacher will deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and practical scientific skills. You will teach Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or Combined Science, depending on your expertise, and help students achieve their full academic potential. Key responsibilities include: Plan and deliver structured and engaging lessons across KS3–KS5. Prepare students for GCSE and A Level examinations. Assess, track, and monitor student progress, implementing interventions where needed. Contribute to curriculum development, departmental planning, and resources. Support extracurricular STEM activities, such as science clubs, competitions, and trips. Promote Health & Safety compliance during all practical lessons and experiments. Encourage independent thinking, problem-solving, and enthusiasm for Science. Candidate Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification. Degree in a Science subject (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or combined Science). Strong classroom management and organisational skills. Ability to deliver differentiated lessons to suit learners of all abilities. Commitment to fostering a love of Science and raising student attainment. Collaborative, proactive, and supportive approach within the department and school.
