Construction Estimator

Construction Estimator Location: Atlanta, GA Salary: $75,000 – $95,000 Overview: Our client is seeking a Construction Estimator with at least four years of experience working with a General Contractor in the Atlanta market. This role will support preconstruction activities including conceptual estimating, subcontractor bid management, and proposal development. The position offers an opportunity to work on multiple projects in early design phases within a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Analyze construction drawings and specifications to develop trade-specific bid packages Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, and scope narratives Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor bids Develop complete bid proposals and assist with project presentations and interviews Manage multiple estimates at different stages of design Support scheduling and coordinate with leadership and clients during preconstruction Serve as a point of contact during the preconstruction phase Mentor junior team members as needed Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Construction Management or equivalent experience Minimum 4 years of estimating experience with a General Contractor Experience with CM-at-Risk, Design/Build, and Hard Bid delivery methods Ability to read and interpret construction documents Strong communication and presentation skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Procore bidding tools preferred Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities Environment: Team-oriented construction environment with client interaction and collaboration across project teams.
