About the Role As a Science Teacher, your responsibilities will include: Teaching Science across Key Stages 3–5, including Biology, Chemistry, or Physics at GCSE and A-Level where applicable. Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons that cater to a range of abilities. Assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and setting targets. Contributing to curriculum development and departmental planning. Leading or supporting co-curricular science initiatives such as clubs, competitions, and enrichment projects. Maintaining a safe, stimulating, and positive learning environment. Collaborating with colleagues across the department and school. Experience and Qualifications Degree in a Science discipline (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics). PGCE or QTS qualification. Experience teaching Science at secondary level, including GCSE and A-Level desirable. Strong subject knowledge, excellent communication, and classroom management skills.
