We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Lead to guide the technical direction of projects related to vehicle diagnostics, software download (SWDL), and automotive aftermarket systems. This role acts as a bridge between engineering teams, product stakeholders, and business functions, ensuring that technical solutions align with business objectives while maintaining high standards of quality, reliability, and innovation. The Senior Tech Lead will combine deep technical expertise with leadership capabilities, supporting architecture decisions, mentoring engineering teams, and overseeing the successful delivery of complex automotive software solutions. Key Responsibilities Technical Leadership Define and communicate the technical vision, architecture, and best practices in collaboration with the Solution Architect. Provide guidance on software architecture, diagnostics systems, and system integration. Ensure technical decisions align with long-term system scalability and maintainability. Team Collaboration Mentor and support Product Owners, developers, and engineering teams. Promote knowledge sharing and continuous improvement across teams. Act as a bridge between engineering, product, and business stakeholders. Project Delivery Oversee technical planning and execution of projects. Identify and mitigate technical risks early in the development lifecycle. Ensure timely delivery of high-quality software solutions. Serve as Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for high-priority technical initiatives. Innovation & Continuous Improvement Advocate for innovation, modernization, and continuous solution improvement. Identify opportunities to improve system performance, scalability, and maintainability. Compliance & Governance Support technical audits and compliance requirements. Ensure adherence to industry regulations including SUMS/CSMS and related automotive legislation. Required Qualifications 25+ years of experience in vehicle diagnostics, software download (SWDL), software architecture, and system integration. Strong understanding of automotive aftermarket systems and vehicle project lifecycle. 15+ years of experience leading technical teams within the automotive domain. Proven experience managing complex automotive software projects. Strong proficiency in relevant programming languages, frameworks, and system architecture design. Documented experience with SUMS / CSMS regulations and compliance audits. Key Competencies Ability to balance technical depth with business priorities. Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
