Corporate & Foundation Alliances Officer

Within the Fundraising Unit at VHIR, we are looking for a Corporate & Foundation Alliances Officer to drive, manage, and consolidate corporate partnerships with companies and foundations, primarily in the local area. This role is key for identifying collaboration opportunities, designing value propositions aligned with the interests of partners and the institution’s strategic projects, and ensuring long-term relationships based on trust, impact, and transparency. Main responsibilities and duties: Identify, prospect, and secure new collaboration opportunities with companies and foundations. Manage and maintain the portfolio of corporate and foundation partners, ensuring long-term relationships. Design collaboration proposals (sponsorships, donations, joint projects, cause-related campaigns, etc.) aligned with the objectives of both partners and the institution. Coordinate with internal teams (projects, communications, research, finance) to ensure proper execution and monitoring of partnerships. Monitor agreements, prepare impact reports, and ensure compliance with commitments. Analyse trends, market opportunities, and best practices in corporate partnerships and fundraising. Represent the institution at events, meetings, and forums related to companies and foundations. Education and qualifications: Required: University degree in Business Administration and Management, Economics, Social Sciences, Communication, International Relations, or similar fields Fluency in Catalan, Spanish and English (business level) Desired: Master’s degree or postgraduate qualification in fundraising, non-profit management, international cooperation, or project management Knowledge of additional languages Experience and knowledge: Required: Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in fundraising from companies and foundations, corporate partnerships, or business development in social, healthcare, or research contexts. Experience in preparing proposals, dossiers, and presentations for companies and foundations. Proven ability to manage institutional relationships. Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. Knowledge of the tax framework for donations and philanthropy.
