Industrial Mechanic

Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Industrial Mechanic to join our team in Dover, NJ. This hands-on role involves maintenance, repair, and assembly of industrial machinery, with a focus on hydraulic systems, welding, and mechanical troubleshooting . Ideal candidates are skilled, safety-conscious, and ready to provide exceptional service both in-shop and on-site. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections on industrial machinery Troubleshoot mechanical and hydraulic system issues Fabricate, assemble, and install parts as needed Conduct machinery rebuilds, shaft/motor/gearbox alignment, and bearing replacement Read and interpret mechanical blueprints for repair and assembly work Operate hydraulic presses and perform hydraulic assembly/troubleshooting Conduct field service visits to customer sites with a valid driver's license Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently Requirements: 2+ years of experience as an Industrial Mechanic or similar role Hands-on experience with TIG and Fusion welding Strong hydraulic system assembly and troubleshooting skills Mechanical blueprint reading and interpretation Experience with machinery assembly, bearings, seals, shafts, and gearboxes Valid driver's license required; field service experience preferred Preferred Skills: Welding certifications (TIG/Fusion) Hydraulic press operation experience and certifications Limited electrical wiring knowledge (motors, switches) Benefits: Competitive pay: $30 – $40/hr based on experience 401(k) plan Paid time off (sick, vacation) and paid holidays Medical insurance administration
