Travel Physical Therapist (PT) – Acute Care Albany, Georgia Facility: Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital Contract Duration: 17 Weeks (March 16, 2026 – July 13, 2026) Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,405.74 Schedule: 8–10 Hour Day Shifts | 40 Hours Per Week Position Overview Trinity Healthcare Talent Services is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist (PT) for an acute care setting at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, GA. The Physical Therapist will work with hospitalized patients requiring rehabilitation services to restore mobility, improve strength, and support recovery from illness, injury, or surgical procedures. The role involves evaluating patients, implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to improve patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities Conduct patient evaluations and functional mobility assessments Develop individualized rehabilitation treatment plans Implement therapeutic exercises and functional mobility training Provide gait training and balance interventions Assist patients with post-operative and injury rehabilitation Educate patients and caregivers on recovery and home exercise programs Document treatment progress in the facilitys EMR system Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and rehabilitation teams to coordinate care Patient Population Patients in this acute care setting may include individuals recovering from: Orthopedic injuries and surgeries Neurological conditions Cardiopulmonary conditions Trauma or post-surgical procedures General mobility impairments Required Qualifications Active Physical Therapist License (required at submission) BLS Certification Experience in acute care or hospital-based therapy preferred Facility Information Facility: Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital Care Setting: Acute Care Charting System: MEDITECH Additional Assignment Details 40 hours per week Day shift with 8–10 hour shifts Cancellation Policy: 12 hours every two weeks Why Consider This Assignment Competitive weekly compensation Opportunity to work in a large regional medical center Gain experience in an acute care hospital environment Collaborative multidisciplinary team setting
