We are sharing a specialised remote opportunity for History experts to contribute their knowledge to a large-scale AI training initiative focused on improving historical reasoning, source-based analysis, and culturally grounded interpretation in advanced AI models. This project supports a leading AI research lab working to enhance how AI systems understand historical events, historiographical debates, primary source interpretation, and contextual historical analysis. This is a multilingual opportunity , designed for individuals actively engaged in historical research, study, or discourse within their linguistic and cultural context. Experts will contribute by creating history-related prompts, reviewing AI-generated responses, and producing high-quality explanations grounded in accurate historical knowledge and contextual understanding. Key Responsibilities Author history prompts covering historical analysis, historiographical comparisons, primary source interpretation, and timeline reasoning Evaluate AI-generated responses for factual accuracy, nuance, and historical context Produce high-quality human-authored gold responses for complex or interpretive historical questions Develop prompt variations exploring differences in time periods, geographic regions, political contexts, or historiographical interpretations Evaluate outputs across different tones including academic, explanatory, and narrative formats Identify model failure cases involving anachronisms, oversimplifications, biased framing, or culturally inconsistent interpretations Ideal Profile Strong candidates may have: 2+ years of sustained engagement with history through research, writing, study, or educational activities Experience participating in historical discussions, research groups, writing projects, or archival work Active participation in historical discourse in at least one of the following languages: Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Spanish, Russian, German, Arabic, Thai, Tamil, or Hindi Strong familiarity with regional history, historiography, and historical research methods Ability to clearly articulate historical arguments and contextual analysis Strong written communication skills and thoughtful editorial judgment Preferred qualifications may include: Academic background in history, archaeology, political history, or related disciplines Experience writing historical essays, articles, or research papers Familiarity with primary source analysis or historical documentation Why This Opportunity Contribute historical expertise to frontier AI research projects Help improve how AI systems understand historical events, context, and interpretation Work on intellectually engaging tasks involving historical reasoning and analysis Flexible remote engagement with competitive hourly compensation Contract Details Independent contractor role Fully remote with flexible scheduling Expected commitment: approximately 10–40 hours per week Weekly payments via Stripe or Wise Projects may be extended or adjusted depending on performance and project needs About the Platform This opportunity is available through a leading AI-driven work platform.
