Platform Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Platform Developer to join our growing technology team in a fully remote capacity. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable platform solutions that support internal systems, applications, and enterprise services. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in platform architecture, cloud technologies, automation, and backend development, with a passion for building reliable infrastructure that supports modern applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, DevOps, product management, and security to deliver robust platform capabilities that enhance performance, scalability, and operational efficiency. Candidates must reside in the United States and possess a valid U.S. work permit. Key Responsibilities Platform Development & Engineering * Design, build, and maintain scalable platform services that support internal and external applications. * Develop backend services, APIs, and integration frameworks that enable efficient data flow across systems. * Implement platform features that improve application reliability, performance, and scalability. * Build reusable platform components and shared development frameworks. Cloud Infrastructure & Automation * Work with cloud platforms such as **AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud** to deploy and maintain infrastructure. * Implement automation for infrastructure provisioning, deployments, and monitoring. * Support containerization and orchestration technologies such as **Docker and Kubernetes**. * Collaborate with DevOps teams to maintain CI/CD pipelines. System Integration & Performance * Integrate enterprise systems, third-party services, and APIs. * Monitor platform performance and implement improvements for scalability and stability. * Troubleshoot platform issues and provide technical solutions. Security & Compliance * Ensure platform development follows **security best practices and compliance standards**. * Implement identity management, authentication, and authorization mechanisms. * Work with security teams to address vulnerabilities and maintain secure system architecture. Collaboration & Documentation * Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define technical requirements. * Document platform architecture, APIs, and development standards. * Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of engineering practices.
