Position: Military Service Member Company: Wheelerschools Contract Type: Full time, permanent Wheelerschools is seeking dedicated and motivated Military Service Members to join our team. As a Military Service Member, you will play a crucial role in supporting our school community and helping to shape the lives of our students. Key Responsibilities: - Serve as a positive role model for students, demonstrating discipline, integrity, and leadership - Provide mentorship and guidance to students, helping them to develop important life skills - Participate in school events and activities, promoting a sense of pride and camaraderie within the school community - Assist with the planning and execution of school-wide programs, such as career fairs and community service projects - Utilize your military training and experience to enhance classroom instruction and provide real-world examples for students - Collaborate with teachers and staff to support students with academic and behavioral needs - Maintain a safe and secure environment for students, following all school and military protocols - Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to ensure a positive and productive learning environment - Continuously seek opportunities for personal and professional growth, attending trainings and workshops as needed Qualifications: - Active duty or retired military service member with a minimum of 4 years of service - Strong leadership skills and ability to work well in a team environment - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Passion for working with young people and making a positive impact in their lives - Ability to adapt to a school environment and work with diverse groups of students - High level of physical fitness and ability to meet physical demands of the job - Valid driver's license and reliable transportation At Wheelerschools, we value the unique skills and experiences that military service members bring to the table.
