Legal Counsel

The role will be assisting attorneys and business stakeholders in all stages of contract support and management / commercial transactions for APAC (mainly in Singapore and ANZ markets) and Travel Retail Worldwide businesses. The role will provide legal advice and counsel, draft negotiate and manage legal documents, generally assists the APAC and TRWW legal by performing a variety of contracting and other legal support duties, including but not limited to Corporate Governance, Compliance, Licensing Agreements, Marketing, Distribution, Retail Agreements, Leases, Vendor Agreements, Digital Activities, Contentious Matters, Litigation, Intellectual Property and Marketing & Advertising Law, Duty Free, Tariffs Impacts, Cross Border Retail Issues etc. The role will work with external counsel when needed and overlook its service to meet the legal function's goal on cost and quality management for business. Coordinate and manage outside law firms with respect to litigation, government inquiries and investigations. REQUIREMENTS: 1. Fluent in written and spoken English. 2. At least 5+ years of in-house experience in Asia Pacific markets. A combination of top-tier law firm and in-house experience is preferred. 3. Experience in complex commercial, distribution, retail, IP contracts, corporate compliance, marketing claims, digital Ecommerce regulations, governance and litigation. Cosmetics/ Beauty/ Luxury/ Lifestyle/ Retail/ FMCG industry experience is preferred. 4. Strong communication skills to all levels of business counterparts. 5. High attention to details. 6. Strong project management skill.
