Hybrid | Project Manager III (Washington) — Up to $85/hr

We are sharing a specialised opportunity for an experienced Project Manager III to support a world-class technology team developing next-generation virtual, augmented, and mixed reality technologies. This role supports a leading technology company working on advanced audio systems for AI-powered glasses and head-mounted displays designed to enhance communication and human capabilities in complex acoustic environments. The Project Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams including experts in audio engineering, signal processing, machine learning, and hearing sciences , helping coordinate feature development and product delivery across multiple technical initiatives. Key Responsibilities Drive planning, execution, and delivery of feature development and productisation projects Monitor project progress and proactively identify risks and mitigation strategies Communicate project status, dependencies, and risks clearly to stakeholders Coordinate regular feature evaluation sessions with engineering teams Ensure project tasks and milestones are completed and properly documented Support operational initiatives including vendor coordination and equipment procurement Facilitate collaboration across engineering, research, and operational teams Maintain an active on-site presence to support project coordination and delivery Ideal Profile Strong candidates may have: 3+ years of project management experience within research or product development environments Experience coordinating cross-functional technical teams Strong organisational, time management, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced technical environments Proven ability to collaborate effectively with engineers, researchers, and stakeholders Bachelors degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience Preferred qualifications may include: PMP certification or equivalent professional project management training Familiarity with technical domains such as audio engineering, signal processing, machine learning, or related research areas Experience supporting product development or advanced technology research programs Why This Opportunity Work on cutting-edge technologies shaping the future of AR, VR, and mixed reality Collaborate with world-class researchers, engineers, and product teams Contribute to breakthrough audio technologies used in next-generation devices Join a high-impact technical team working at the frontier of immersive computing Contract Details Full-time contract engagement (12 months with potential extension) Hybrid role based in Redmond, Washington Mandatory on-site days: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday Competitive hourly compensation up to $85/hr Engagement administered through an enterprise staffing partner supporting the client team About the Platform This opportunity is available through a leading AI-driven work platform.
