About the Role As a KS2 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and well-structured lessons across the Key Stage 2 curriculum, helping pupils develop key academic and personal skills during this important stage of their education. Key responsibilities include: Teaching across the KS2 curriculum, including English, Maths, Science, and foundation subjects Planning and delivering creative and engaging lessons that promote curiosity and independent thinking Monitoring pupil progress through assessment, feedback, and targeted support Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all pupils feel supported Differentiating learning to support pupils of varying abilities and needs Contributing to curriculum development and collaborative planning within the department Supporting school events, enrichment activities, and the wider life of the school Maintaining strong communication with parents and carers regarding pupil progress and wellbeing Experience and Qualifications The successful candidate will: Hold QTS or PGCE with a primary education specialism Have experience teaching within Key Stage 2 Demonstrate strong subject knowledge across the primary curriculum Be enthusiastic, creative, and passionate about teaching and learning Possess excellent classroom management and organisational skills Be committed to supporting pupil development both academically and pastorally Applications from Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are welcomed, as the school offers excellent mentoring and support for teachers at the beginning of their careers.
