Senior Accountant

On behalf of a client, we are looking for a Senior Accountant. Main Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with applicable tax legislation (VAT, payroll taxes, withholding taxes, etc.) Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual tax filings Support the preparation and submission of corporate income tax returns Assist during tax audits and liaise with tax authorities Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the company Collaborate with external tax advisors and statutory auditors Support month-end and year-end closing processes (tax provisions, deferred tax calculations) Participate in tax process improvements and internal control initiatives Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting with a strong focus on taxation Solid knowledge of Greek tax and accounting legislation Experience in a corporate environment and/or audit/tax advisory firm Very good command of English (written and spoken) Advanced MS Excel skills and experience with ERP systems Strong analytical skills Attention to detail and ability to meet deadline Company's Benefits: Competitive remuneration package Career development opportunities Modern and dynamic working environment Private health insurance Continuous learning and professional development Interested candidates are kindly requested to submit an application below, and a representative from Kariera.Group will contact them promptly.
