Accountant

Job Summary We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Accountant to manage daily financial transactions, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and support accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to maintain financial accuracy and transparency. Key Responsibilities Prepare, examine, and analyze financial statements and reports for accuracy and compliance. Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) , ensuring timely payments and collections. Record daily financial transactions, reconcile bank statements, and maintain general ledgers. Process invoices, expenses, and payroll accurately and on schedule. Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing and reporting processes. Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis. Ensure compliance with tax regulations, company policies, and financial reporting standards. Liaise with auditors, vendors, and regulatory authorities as needed. Maintain proper documentation and digital record-keeping for all financial data. Identify process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency in accounting workflows. Qualifications Required: Bachelors degree in Accounting , Finance , or a related field. Minimum 25 years of accounting experience in a corporate or public accounting environment. Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS principles and financial reporting standards. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, or Tally). Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and financial analysis tools. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred: Professional certification such as CPA , ACCA , or CMA . Experience in tax filing, compliance, or audit coordination . Familiarity with ERP systems or advanced financial automation tools. Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling . Knowledge of local and international taxation laws . Background in manufacturing, trading, or service-based industries . Strong analytical mindset and ability to generate insights from financial data.
