We’re looking for a Sales Specialist who will take full ownership of our sales journey and help the company grow. About RZ HR Studio We’re a boutique HR agency supporting founders, startups, and remote-first teams with fractional HR leadership, people operations support, and culture - building. We value long-term partnership with our clients and we want a Sales Specialist who understands that great sales is about asking the right questions and understanding how the Studio can help our clients. About the Role As our Sales Specialist, you’ll own the entire sales journey with the leadership of our founder to ensure that every client we take on is a strong fit for both sides. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys relationship-driven sales, understands founder psychology, and can confidently sell professional services without hype. At the start, your primary focus will be on lead management — making sure every inbound lead is attended to, properly pre-qualified, and lands on a discovery call with our Founder. From there, you'll grow into owning the full sales pipeline. What You’ll Own Lead Management & Nurturing Monitor and attend to inbound leads across all touchpoints - Social Media DMs and comments, website inquiries, calendar bookings, and referrals Ensure no lead goes unattended; follow up consistently and move leads through the pipeline Act as the main point of contact from first touch until onboarding Support referrals, renewals, and upsell opportunities where appropriate Outbound Lead Generation Identify and engage qualified founders and decision-makers through effective cold outreach List open roles and published postings where the Studio might be a strong fit (warm leads) Partner with our Social Media & Community Engagement Specialist to leverage our platforms for prospecting Sales Backend & Infrastructure Build and maintain our CRM using Airtable - including pipeline setup, automation workflows, and reporting dashboards Keep lead records accurate, up-to-date, and organized at all times Track pipeline health and surface early KPIs, patterns, objections, and opportunities Sales Process Manage the sales pipeline end-to-end Prepare and send proposals with clear scope and expectations Attend to inbound sales inquiries with speed and care What Success Looks Like A steady pipeline of qualified, well-attended leads High-quality discovery calls booked consistently with the Founder Right-fit deals closed with smooth onboarding A clean, functional CRM that gives us real visibility into our pipeline Strong early client retention Who Will Succeed in This Role Tech-savvy and highly organized - you love building systems, not just working in them Hands-on experience with Airtable (ideally as a CRM or project management tool) At least 2 years of experience in consultative, services, or B2B sales (prior sales experience is a plus but not required - we care more about your mindset and attention to detail) Strong written and verbal communication skills Comfortable engaging with founders and senior decision-makers A self-starter who takes initiative without waiting to be told Detail-oriented - nothing slips through the cracks on your watch Experience selling professional services (HR, recruitment, consulting, SaaS, or agency work) is a big plus Why Join Us Work with a thoughtful, people-first agency Sell services that genuinely help founders build better teams Fully remote and flexible work environment Unlimited commission - your earning potential grows with every deal you close Real opportunity to grow into the Sales Manager of the Studio What We Offer Competitive base pay + unlimited commission based on quota Clear expectations and realistic targets — you'll know your numbers from Day 1 What to Expect Our team will review your resume.
