DevOps Engineer (Java/Python)

Contract type: B2B Work Model: Mostly remote setup Occasional onsite presence when client visits are planned Role Overview We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with Java and/or Python experience to support modern software delivery and infrastructure automation in a dynamic project environment. This is a primarily remote role, with occasional onsite collaboration when the client is visiting. You will work closely with development and operations teams to ensure reliable deployments, scalable infrastructure, and efficient CI/CD practices. Key Responsibilities Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application delivery Automate infrastructure and deployment processes Collaborate with developers working in Java and Python ecosystems Support containerized and cloud-based environments Monitor system performance and ensure platform reliability Troubleshoot build, deployment, and runtime issues Contribute to DevOps best practices and automation initiatives Participate in release activities and operational support when required Required Skills & Experience Proven experience in a DevOps Engineer role Hands-on experience with Java and/or Python environments Strong experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc.) Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes – preferred) Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Scripting and automation skills Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities Good communication skills and ability to work in distributed teams
