Shop Electrician

Our client, a well-established family-owned company , is seeking an experienced Shop Electrician with overhead crane experience to build and wire new crane systems. This is a skilled position for someone who understands crane controls and takes pride in clean, accurate electrical work. This is not an entry-level role. Overhead crane experience is required. Responsibilities Wire and assemble overhead crane control panels from schematics Install and wire VFDs and transformers Run and bend conduit (EMT and rigid) Wire hoists, motors, limit switches, and crane components Read and interpret crane electrical drawings Perform testing and troubleshooting prior to shipment Maintain high standards for workmanship and organization Required Qualifications 3+ years of industrial electrical experience Hands-on experience working on overhead crane systems Strong control panel wiring experience Experience installing and setting up VFDs Experience connecting transformers Ability to read and follow electrical schematics High attention to detail and quality What They Offer $32–$38 per hour based on experience Stable, full-time employment Family-oriented company culture Clean shop environment Opportunity to work on specialized crane systems
