We are seeking an Electrical Engineer for our client located in Graniteville, SC in the Engineering field.Apply and create that opportunity to enhance your electrical engineering career! Onsite: Graniteville, SC, US Salary: USD $100,000 – $120,000 / yr Additional variable compensation? Yes Available Relocation: none Is sponsorship possible? no Primary Responsibilities: Responsible for electrical expertise in single/multiple areas of the plant. · Lead continuous improvement and corrective action activities & projects. · Provide technical support to internal customers. · Project Management -Manage major projects such as New Machine installation, upgrades etc. The Projects range from $50K to $1M and require that you · Analyze project requirements, identify and address design parameters, engineering challenges and to ensure solutions are implemented accurately, timely and within budget. ·Oversee project workflow and support internal and external resources to ensure on-time delivery of projects, meeting quality standards and within budget. · Ensure all relevant safety objectives and legal requirements, for all activities, are observed and implemented. Engineering: · Create and finalize designs to meet project scope of work and safety requirements, Bill of Materials and spare part requirements. · Work closely with Automation Vendors and Manage External Contractors on Installations. · Engineering drawing development. (Autodesk products) · Project/Equipment Risk Assessment & Safety Countermeasure Implementation. · Hardware design, PLC and HMI programming, VFDs, Servos, Control System Networking & Systems integration. · Specification and procurement of electrical hardware and services. · Machine FAT, IO check-out, Machine start-up and commissioning. Must-haves Strong work ethic and self-starter attitude Ability to manage capital and expense budgets to meet plant objectives Required Skills Proficiency with Allen Bradley PLC's, remote IO, Human Machine Interface, and associated Rockwell software Troubleshooting and programming PLC's Experience with industrial ethernet communication and machine network layout Knowledge of equipment safety, including hardware design, component selection, and arc flash requirements per NFPA 70E Preferred or Nice-to-have Skills Strong communication and negotiation skills for internal and external stakeholder relationships Experience managing contractors and maintenance technicians Ability to design, develop, and oversee electrical control systems Years of Experience: 5+ years and experience with Allen Bradley PLC's and industrial automation is required. Industry Experience: Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is preferred, with knowledge of production and maintenance processes. Education Requirements: A degree in a relevant field such as electrical engineering or a related technical field.
