We're seeking an experienced Material Planner - Level 2 to join our Project Management team in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. This 12-month contract role offers the opportunity to contribute to critical energy infrastructure planning and execution while working alongside industry professionals. Position Overview As a Material Planner - Level 2, you will be responsible for coordinating material procurement, inventory management, and supply chain optimization for major energy projects. With 6-10 years of experience in material planning, you'll leverage your expertise to ensure timely material availability, cost efficiency, and project success. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain material schedules aligned with project timelines and milestones Coordinate with procurement, engineering, and project management teams to forecast material requirements Monitor inventory levels and manage stock optimization across multiple project locations Analyze demand patterns and recommend procurement strategies to reduce costs and lead times Maintain supplier relationships and track vendor performance metrics Prepare detailed material reports and forecasts for project stakeholders Identify and resolve supply chain bottlenecks and material shortage risks Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and standards Utilize planning software and systems to track material flow and project progress Requirements Required Qualifications: 6-10 years of material planning experience in engineering, construction, or energy sectors Proven expertise in demand forecasting and supply chain optimization Strong proficiency with material planning software (MRP, ERP systems, SAP preferred) Advanced Excel skills and data analysis capabilities Excellent organizational and project coordination abilities Strong communication skills with ability to work cross-functionally Knowledge of procurement processes and supplier management Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Preferred Qualifications: Experience in renewable energy or utility sector projects APICS CPIM or CSCP certification Experience with large-scale infrastructure projects Familiarity with project management methodologies (PMP, Agile) What We Offer Competitive Pay: $26.52/hour Contract Duration: 12-month assignment with potential for extension Schedule: Standard 40-hour week (Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm) Location: On-site at our Palm Beach Gardens facility Professional Environment: Work with industry-leading energy company
