Shop Attendant

Overview: We are seeking friendly, reliable, and hardworking Shop Assistants to join our team. The ideal candidates will provide excellent customer service while ensuring the shops remains clean, well-stocked, and efficiently run. This role involves cashier duties, stocking shelves, inventory support, and handling deliveries. Key Responsibilities Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately Stack and replenish shelves with confectionery products Ensure displays are neat, attractive, and fully stocked Receive deliveries and lift/move boxes of stock (up to 20kg]) Assist with inventory checks and stock rotation (FIFO method) Monitor stock levels and report shortages to management Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the shop Support promotional displays and seasonal product setups Follow health and safety procedures at all times Requirements Previous retail or cashier experience preferred but not essential Good communication and customer service skills Basic numeracy skills for handling cash transactions Ability to lift and move stock safely Reliable, punctual, and well-presented Ability to work independently and as part of a team Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays #LI-DNI
