Position Title: Head of Finance Location: Gothenburg, Sweden Industry: Wholesale Food & Seafood Distribution / Seafood Export Language: Swedish and English Type: Full-time, on-site About the Role We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Head of Finance to lead and develop the finance function for our customer. You will play a key role in driving financial performance, ensuring regulatory compliance, and contributing to long-term business growth. As a member of the executive management team, you will work closely with the CEO and Board to support strategic decision-making and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Lead and develop the finance function, including accounting, reporting, and financial governance. Oversee monthly and annual closings and ensure high-quality consolidated financial reporting. Ensure compliance with Swedish accounting standards (K3), tax regulations, and applicable laws. Provide financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and strategic decision support to the CEO and Board. Drive financial planning, follow-up processes, and performance management across the organization. Strengthen internal controls, financial processes, and governance structures. Lead digitalization and automation initiatives within finance, including ERP and system development. Manage, coach, and develop the finance team. Act as primary contact for auditors, banks, authorities, and external stakeholders. Qualifications University degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. Minimum 7–10 years of senior finance experience, including leadership responsibility. Strong expertise in financial reporting, consolidation, and financial control. Solid knowledge of Swedish accounting standards (K3) and tax legislation. Experience with ERP systems and digital finance tools. Strong analytical, strategic, and business-oriented mindset.
