Automation Engineer

They serve clients across the F&B, dairy, and brewery industries, delivering turnkey engineering solutions with a focus on quality, innovation, and regulatory compliance. Job Summary: This is a full-time on-site role as an Automation Engineer at our location in Shah Alam. As an Automation Engineer, your day-to-day tasks will involve troubleshooting, process control, electrical engineering, PLC programming and SCADA/HMI programming. You will be responsible for designing, programming, and maintaining automated systems and equipment to optimize production processes. Job Responsibilities: Responsible for design and execution of electrical, instrumentation and programming work. Develop PLC program and HMI graphics as per project requirements. Conduct internal hardware & software integrated testing and Factory Acceptance Test. Conduct testing & commissioning and Site Acceptance Test at customers site. Liaise with stakeholder, contractors, and vendors. Site troubleshooting for electrical wiring or/and program. Undertake any other tasks assigned by Manager. Skills and Knowledge Experienced in IEC 61131-3 standard PLC programming, mainly Ladder Logic, FBD and Structured Text. Experienced with PLC, Drive systems, and HMI programming. Experience with Siemens PLC will be an added advantage. Possess electrical drawing knowledge. Competent in process control, process automation through PLC and SCADA/HMI programming. Qualification & Experience: Minimum Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification Minimum 2 years with relevant working experience. Willing to travel outstation/overseas, if required. Able to work with minimum supervision
